太陽（たいよう）The Sun

　宇宙うちゅうには、いろいろな星ほしがあります。

　星ほしの中なかには、自分じぶんで光ひかることのできる星ほしがあります。

　そのように自分じぶんで光ひかる星ほしのことを恒星こうせいといいます。

　太陽たいようも恒星こうせいの1ひとつです。

　太陽たいようのはたらきはたくさんあります。

　太陽たいようは、地球ちきゅうに光ひかりと熱ねつを与あたえてくれます。

　太陽たいようが出でている昼ひるが明あかるいのは、太陽たいようの光ひかりのはたらきです。

　暖あたたかいのも、太陽たいようのおかげです。

　太陽たいようの光ひかりの中なかには、いろいろな光ひかりがあります。

　目めに見みえる光ひかり以外いがいにも、目めに見みえない赤外線せきがいせんや紫外線しがいせんというものもあります。

　宇宙うちゅうの中なかを通とおって、地球ちきゅうにとどいた光ひかりや赤外線せきがいせんなどが、地球ちきゅうにあるいろいろなものに当あたると、熱ねつが発生はっせいします。

　このようにして、地球ちきゅうは、太陽たいようのおかげで、明あかるさと温あたたかさを保たもっています。
