水墨画（すいぼくが）　Suiboku-ga

　水墨すいぼく画がは、主おもに、墨すみの濃淡のうたんを利り用ようして描えがいた絵かい画がです。

　中国ちゅうごくの唐とうの時じ代だいに始はじまった絵かい画がです。

　日に本ほんには、鎌倉かまくら時じ代だいに伝つたわりました。

　禅宗ぜんしゅうという仏教ぶっきょうの一種いっしゅと一緒いっしょに伝つたわりました。

　水墨すいぼく画がでは、筆ふでの中なかに墨すみと水みずで調整ちょうせいした濃こさの違ちがう３みっつの層そうを作つくります。この筆ふでを使つかって、様々さまざまなものを描えがきます。濃淡のうたん、にじみ、かすれなどの墨色すみいろの変へん化かで様々さまざまなものを描えがき分わけます。

　水墨すいぼく画がでは、最初さいしょは、四し君くん子しといって、竹たけ、梅うめ、菊きく、蘭らんの4よっつの花はなを手て本ほんとして真ま似ねて描えがくことが多おおいです。

　蘭らんは春はるを、竹たけは夏なつを、菊きくは秋あきを、梅うめは冬ふゆを代表だいひょうする植物しょくぶつとして考かんがえられています。

　日に本ほんで有名ゆうめいな水墨すいぼく画がの画が家かとしては、雪舟せっしゅうが有名ゆうめいです。

Suiboku-ga（Ink Painting）

　Suiboku-ga is a type of painting that primarily uses shades of ink.

　It was introduced along with a type of Buddhism called Zen Buddhism.

　In Suiboku-ga, three layers of different densities are created in the brush, coordinated with ink and water. Using this brush, the artist paints

　In ink painting, the first four flowers, bamboo, plum, chrysanthemum, and orchid, are often imitated as models.

　The orchid is considered to represent spring, the bamboo summer, the chrysanthemum fall, and the plum blossom winter.

　Sesshu is the most famous ink painting artist in Japan.
