2024年(ねん)パリオリンピック 2024 Paris Olympics

　2024年ねん7月がつ26日にちから8月がつ11日にちまでの17日間にちかん、フランスのパリでオリンピック競技大会きょうぎたいかいが開催かいさいされます。

　フランスでオリンピックが行おこなわれるのは、3回目さんかいめです。1回目いっかいめは1900年ねんに行おこなわれました。2回目にかいめは、今いまからちょうど100年前ひゃくねんまえの1924年ねんに行おこなわれています。

　今回こんかいのパリオリンピックの参加国さんかこくや地域ちいきは、207です。

　競技きょうぎは、32競技きょうぎ329種目しゅもくです。出場選手しゅつじょうせんしゅは、約やく1万まん500人にんの予定よていです。

　競技きょうぎを全すべて書かきだすと、次つぎの通とおりです。

陸上競技りくじょうぎょうぎ、水泳すいえい、体操たいそう、ウエイトリフティング、バスケットボール、バレーボールバドミントン、サッカー、ハンドボール、ホッケー、テニス、卓球たっきゅう、ボクシング、

フェンシング、柔道じゅうどう、テコンドー、ボート、カヌー、セーリング、自転車競技じてんしゃきょうぎ、馬術ばじゅつ、射撃しゃげき、アーチェリー、近代五種きんだいごしゅ、トライアスロン、ゴルフ、ラクビー、レスリング、スポーツクライミング、サーフィン、スケードボード、ブレイキングです。

　今回こんかいのパリオリンピックでは、今いままで陸上競技場りくじょうきょうぎじょうで行おこなわれていた開会式かいかいしきを、パリ中心ちゅうしん部ぶを流ながれるセーヌ川がわで行おこなわれることになっています。

　各国かっこくや各地域かくちいきの選手せんしゅは、船ふねに乗のり、川かわを下くだる形かたちで、開会式かいかいしきパレードをすることになります。

　普段ふつうの会場かいじょうに、歩あるいて入はいる形かたちとは違ちがうので、どのような開会式かいかいしきになるのかとても楽たのしみです。

　日本人にほんじんも多おおくの競技きょうぎで、メダルを取とる可能性かのうせいがあるので、たくさんのメダリストが出でることもとても楽たのしみです。

2024 Summer Olympics

　The Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris, France for 17 days from July 26 to August 11, 2024.

　This is the third time that the Olympic Games will be held in France; the first was held in 1900, and the second was in 1924, exactly 100 years ago.

　The number of participating countries and regions in this year’s Paris Olympics is 207.

　There will be 329 events in 32 sports.

　About 10,500 athletes are expected to compete.

　The events are as follows.

　Athletics, Swimming, Gymnastics, Weightlifting, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Soccer, Handball, Field Hockey, Tennis, Table Tennis, Boxing, Fencing, Judo, Taekwondo, Rowing, Canoeing, Sailing, Cycling, Equestrian, Shooting, Archery, Modern Pentathlon, Triathlon, Golf, Rugby, Wrestling, Sport Climbing, Surfing, Skateboarding, and Breaking.

　In this year’s Paris Olympics, the opening ceremony, which until now has been held at the athletic stadium, will be held on the Seine River, which flows through the center of Paris.

　Athletes from each country and region will take a boat down the river for the opening ceremony parade.

　We are very much looking forward to seeing what the opening ceremony will be like, as it will be different from the usual way of entering the venue on foot.

　Japanese athletes are likely to win medals in many events, so we are also looking forward to seeing many medalists.
