大屋根（おおやね）リング　The Grand Ring

　今回こんかいの万博ばんぱくの売うりの1ひとつが、大おお屋根やねリングです。

　万博ばんぱくの会場かいじょうのまん中なかに木造もくぞうの円形えんけいの建物たてものがたっています。

　一周いっしゅうはおよそ2キロメートルあります。

　大おお屋根やねリングは、上うえに登のぼることができます。

　大おお屋根やねリングの上うえからは、万博ばんぱく会場かいじょうの全体ぜんたいを見通みとおすことができます。

　大おお屋根やねリングの上うえは、散歩道さんぽみちにもなっています。

　多おおくの家族かぞくが、楽たのしそうに、リングの上うえから万博ばんぱく会場かいじょうを見みながら、散歩さんぽをしています。

　一部いちぶは、花壇かだんになっていますし、一部いちぶは芝生しばふになっています。

　芝生しばふで、日向ひなたぼっこをしたり、昼寝ひるねをしたりすることもできます。

　大おお屋根やねリングに上のぼり下おりするためには、3みっつの方法ほうほうがあります。

　エレベーターとエスカレーターと階段かいだんです。

　エレベーターは、全部ぜんぶで、6基ろっきあります。

　エスカレーターは、上下じょうげに行いくものがとなりどうしのものが4よっつずつ、上うえに行いくだけのものが1ひとつあります。

　階段かいだんは、6むっつあります。

　大おお屋根やねリングの一部いちぶは、海うみの上うえにもたっていますので、海うみにしずむきれいな夕陽ゆうひを見みることもできます。

　大雨おおあめの日ひや雷かみなりの日ひは下したにおりなければいけませんが、晴はれた日ひや曇くもりの日ひは、とても楽たのしい散歩さんぽコースです。

　ゆっくり歩あるくと、30分さんじゅっぷんから40分よんじゅっぷん程度ていどで一周いっしゅうできます。

The Grand Ring

　One of the attractions of this Expo is The Grand Ring.

　The circular wooden building stands in the middle of the Expo site.

　It is about 2 kilometers in circumference.

　You can climb to the top of the Grand Ring.

　From the top of the Grand Ring you can see the entire Expo site.

　The top of the Grand Ring is also a promenade.

　Many families enjoy taking walks while looking at the Expo site from the top of the ring.

　Some parts of the ring are flower beds and some are lawns.

　You can sunbathe or take a nap on the lawn．

　There are three ways to go up and down the Grand Ring.

　Elevators, escalators, and stairs.

　There are six elevators in total.

　There are four escalators next to each other that go up and down, and one that only goes up.

　There are six stairs.

　Part of the Grand Ring stands above the sea, so you can also watch the beautiful sunset sink into the sea.

　You have to go down on rainy or thundery days, but on sunny or cloudy days it’s a very enjoyable walk.

 　If you walk slowly, you can walk around the ring in about 30 to 40 minutes.
