デザイン　Design

　人間にんげんは、頭あたまの中なかにある脳のうを使つかっていろいろなことができます。

　創造そうぞうしてつくりあげるもののことを、芸術げいじゅつということがあります。

　芸術げいじゅつの中なかには、美び術じゅつ、文学ぶんがく、音楽おんがくなどがあります。

　芸術げいじゅつは、英えい語ごを使つかってアートと呼よぶこともあります。

　アートに似にた言こと葉ばにデザインがあります。

　デザインも、人ひとが脳のうを使つかって創造そうぞうしたもののひとつです。

　アートとデザインは、美うつくしいものや人ひとが感動かんどうするものを目めに見みえる形かたちで表現ひょうげんするということでは共通きょうつうしています。

　しかし、アートとデザインは、少すこし違ちがうところがあります。

　アートは、どちらかというと、自じ分ぶんの心こころの中なかに浮うかんだものを表現ひょうげんしたいように形かたちにすることに重点じゅうてんが置おかれています。

　でも、デザインは少すこし違ちがいます。デザインは、誰だれかのために形かたちにすることです。誰だれか他た人にんの何なにかの目的もくてきを解決かいけつするために形かたちにします。

　例たとえば、誰だれかが着きる服ふくを作つくったり、誰だれかが住すむ家いえを作つくったりするためにするのがデザインです。

Design

　Humans can do many things with the brain in our heads.

　Sometimes what we create and make is called art.

　Some of the arts include fine arts, literature, and music.

　A word similar to art is design.

　Design is also one of the things that people create using their brains.

　Art and design have in common that they both express something beautiful or something that moves people in a tangible way.

　However, art and design are slightly different.

　Art is more focused on giving form to what comes into one’s mind as one wishes to express it.

　But design is a little different. Design is about giving form to something for someone else. It takes shape to solve some purpose for someone else.

　For example, design is what you do to make clothes for someone to wear or a house for someone to live in.
