子どもの権利③（こどものけんり）Children’s Rights

　「子こどもの権けん利り条約じょうやく」には、子こどもの権けん利りが書かかれています。ここでは、子こどもでもわかるように、できるだけかんたんな言葉ことばで書かくことにします。今回こんかいは、6条ろくじょうからです。

　6条ろくじょう：生いきること　

　すべての子こどもは、生いきる権けん利りと成長せいちょうする権けん利りがあります。

　７条：名な前まえをもつこと

　子こどもは自じ分ぶんの名な前まえと自じ分ぶんの国くにをもつことができます。そして、自じ分ぶんの父母ふぼや保護ほご者しゃに養やしなわれることができます。　

　８条：国くにが守まもること

　国くには、子こどもの名な前まえや国くになどがなくならないように守まもります。もし子こどもがそれらを奪うばわれた場ば合あいは、国くには、元もとに戻もどるように努つとめます。

　９条：父母ふぼがいること

　国くには、子こどもが、父母ふぼと一緒いっしょにいることができるように努つとめます。父母ふぼによる虐待ぎゃくたいなどがある場ば合あいは別べつですが、それでも、国くには子こどもと父母ふぼができるだけ会あうことができるようにします。

　10条：父母ふぼに会あうこと

　父母ふぼと異ことなる国くにに住すんでいる子こどもは、父母ふぼと会あう権けん利りがあります。国くには、子どもと父母ふぼが会あうことができることを助たすけます。

Children’s Rights

　The Convention on the Rights of the Child describes the rights of children. Here, we will try to write them in simple language so that even children can understand them. This time, we will start with Article 6.

　Article 6: To live　

　Every child has the right to live and grow.

　Article 7: To have a name

　Every child has the right to his or her own name and his or her own country. He or she can be cared for by his or her parents or guardians.　

　Article 8: Protection by the state

　The State protects the child’s name, country, etc., so that they will not be lost. If a child is deprived of them, the State will endeavor to restore them.

　Article 9: Presence of parents

　The State will endeavor to enable the child to be with his or her parents. Except in cases of abuse by the parents, etc., the State will nevertheless ensure that the child and the parents can meet as much as possible.

　Article 10: Seeing the parents

　A child who lives in a different country from his or her parents has the right to see them. The State will help the child and the parents to meet
