わたしは、だれでしょう？　

わたしがだれか当あててください。

わたしは、いろいろなものを作つくり出した発明家はつめいかです。アメリカ人じんです。

1847年ねんに生まれて、1931年ねんに、81才さいでなくなりました。

小学校しょうがっこうに入学にゅうがくしましたが、どうしても学校がっこうのみんなとうまく過すごすことができなくて、途中とちゅうで小学校しょうがっこうをやめました。

勉強べんきょうは、母ははに教おしえてもらいました。

電話でんわ、レコードプレーヤー、電灯でんとう照明しょうめい、トースター、電気でんきアイロンなどを続つづけて発明はつめいして商品しょうひん化かしました。

現在げんざい、みなさんが、夜よるに明あかるい電灯でんとうの下したで快適かいてきに過すごすことができるのも、わたしのおかげかもしれませんね。

わたしは、よいアイデアを忘わすれないために、いつも紙かみとペンを持もち歩あるいていました。

死しぬまでに5百ひゃく万枚まんまい以上いじょうのメモを書かきました。

いろいろなものを発明はつめいし、ノーベル賞しょうぐらいもらっていると思おもわれていますが、残念ざんねんなことに受賞じゅしょうすることはできませんでした。

わたしの名前なまえは、トーマス･エジソンです。

Who am I? Please guess who I am.

I am an inventor who created various things. I’m American.

I was born in 1847, I died in 1931 when I was 81 years old.

I entered an elementary school, but I couldn’t spend time with everyone in the school, so I quit the elementary school on the way. My mother taught me how to study.

I continued to invent and commercialize telephones, record players, lamp lighting, toasters, electric irons, etc. Maybe it’s because of me that you can now spend the night comfortably under bright lamps.

I always carried some pieces of paper and a pen with me to remember good ideas. By the time I died, I wrote over five million notes.

It is believed that  I invented various things and received the Nobel Prize, but unfortunately I was not able to win the prize.
