寒波（かんぱ）cold weather

　数日前すうじつまえから予よ報ほうが出でていたのですが、1月いちがつ24日にじゅうよっかから日に本ほんの各かく地ちで10年ねんに1度いちどの寒かん波ぱにおそわれています。

　岡山県おかやまけんでは、「顕著けんちょな大雪おおゆきに関かんする気象きしょう情報じょうほう」が出でました。この情報じょうほうは、短みじかい時じ間かんに雪ゆきがたくさん降ふり、重大じゅうだいな災害さいがいが発生はっせいする可か能性のうせいがある時ときに出でます。

　岡山県おかやまけんの真ま庭にわ市しでは、40センチメートルを超こえる雪ゆきが降ふるところもあったそうです。

　大阪駅おおさかえきから京都駅きょうとえきに向むかった電車でんしゃも、大雪おおゆきやポイントの故障こしょうなどで、電車でんしゃが止とまってしまい、多おおくの人ひとが何時間なんじかんも電車でんしゃに閉とじこめられました。

　日に本ほんでは、日に本ほん列島れっとうの真まん中なかに大おおきな山々やまやまがある関係かんけいで、雪ゆきがたくさん降ふることの多おおい日に本ほん海側かいがわの地ち方ほうと、雪ゆきがあまり降ふらない太平洋側たいへいようがわの地ち方ほうでは、かなり違ちがう天てん気きになります。

　今回こんかいの寒かん波ぱでは、普ふ段だんあまり雪ゆきの降ふることのないところでも雪ゆきがたくさん降ふっています。

　雪ゆきが多おおい所ところに住すんでいる人ひとは、普ふ段だんから雪ゆきへの準備じゅんびをしていますので、雪ゆき道みちを歩あるいたり、家いえに積つもった雪ゆきの雪ゆきおろしたりをしたりすることにも慣なれています。

　でも、普ふ段雪だんゆきが降ふらない所ところに住すんでいる人ひとは、雪ゆきにあまり慣なれていません。　

　こんな日ひは、学校がっこうや会社かいしゃも休やすみになればいいのでしょうが、無理むりして学校がっこうや会社かいしゃに行いく人ひともいます。

　雪ゆきの事故じこや災害さいがいがあまりなく、雪ゆきでけがする人ひとや亡なくなる人ひとがいないことを願ねがっています。

cold weather

　The forecast was out a few days ago, but from January 24th, a once-in-a-decade cold snap will hit many parts of Japan.

　In Okayama Prefecture, “weather information regarding significant heavy snowfall” was issued. This information comes out when there is a lot of snow in a short time and there is a possibility of a serious disaster. In Maniwa City, Okayama, it seems that there were places where more than 40 centimeters of snow fell.

　The train from Osaka Station to Kyoto Station also stopped due to heavy snow and point failures, and many people were trapped on the train for hours.

　In Japan, there are large mountains in the middle of the Japanese archipelago, so the weather is quite different between the regions on the Sea of Japan side, where it often snows, and the regions on the Pacific Ocean side, where it does not snow much.

　In this cold weather, it’s snowing a lot in places that don’t usually get much snow.

　People who live in places with a lot of snow usually prepare for the snow, so they are used to walking on snowy roads and removing snow from their homes.

　But people who live in places where it doesn’t usually snow aren’t used to it. 　

　It would be nice if schools and companies were closed on days like this, but some people force themselves to go to school or work.

　I hope that there are not many snow accidents and disasters, and that no one is injured or killed by snow.
